The founders, along with other Virginia Builders, created the Building Goodness Foundation, a nonprofit construction organization that supports community-based initiatives in the U.S. and abroad. The organization has built homes, health clinics, vocational centers and other facilities in Virginia, Colorado, Mississippi and in Costa Rica, Guatemala, Haiti, Liberia, and Nicaragua.
